If you're like me, you're the kind of student who needs a topic to make SENSE at a fundamental level to really understand it. This is what my tutoring style targets. I spent the past 4 years teaching Math and Physics professionally. Before teaching, I spent 3 years tutoring at a university where I earned my BS in Biomedical Engineering. I switched from a career in engineering to one in education because I just love working with kids, teenagers, and young adults. For me, coaching a teenager to improve his jumpshot beats educating a client about a new product; and helping students prepare for the SAT trumps preparing for a design-team meeting. Having taken a year away from teaching to pursue a Master's in Counseling, I look forward to mentoring and sharing life with students once again.
